Jay Brown is a Student member of the Court of ¹úÄÚ¾«Æ·91¸ßÇåÂ鶹 and is the Students’ Union President - Academic Life.

Jay is a recent graduate of ¹úÄÚ¾«Æ·91¸ßÇåÂ鶹, having achieved a first-class degree in BA(Hons) Drama. He was attracted to studying at ¹úÄÚ¾«Æ·91¸ßÇåÂ鶹 due to its community-focused outlook and open value of students as partners

He brings to the Court his experience of being a former ¹úÄÚ¾«Æ·91¸ßÇåÂ鶹 student and being involved with the different representative systems throughout the university, including the class reps, society committees and the part-time SU officer team.

Jay was appointed to Court on 10 June 2023.
